Dick Cheney Hospitalized for Bi-Annual Heart Attack

Ex vice-president Dick Cheney is in the hospital today after experiencing "discomfort".

We're not actually aren't sure yet if it was an actual heart attack. If it was it would be his sixth.

Here is a ridiculous summary of Cheney's health issues.

1978: Cheney had his first heart attack, when he was 37. This led him to quit smoking.

1984: Had a second heart attack.

1988: Had a third heart attack, this resulted in quadrupole bypass surgery.

November, 2000: Had a fourth heart attack which led to coronary stinting surgery.

Houston Emergency Rooms Screening Every Adult for HIV

A pilot program in several Houston emergency rooms has found founds that approximately 1/100 people who are treated in the hospital are infected with HIV.

"Some of the people we have found to be HIV-positive, we absolutely know if that institution had been screening earlier that they would have been identified earlier," said Marlene McNeese-Ward, who leads the city health department's HIV prevention efforts.

Is BP Burning Endangered Turtles to Avoid Liability?

As BP struggles to mitigate the effects from the Gulf Oil Leak, some are claiming the corporation is intentionally limiting their liability by allowing endangered sea turtles to burn rather than rescuing them.

The Gulf Leak Hits Pensacola Beach

The Gulf Oil Spill erupted this week onto the famously beautiful white sands of Pensacola, Florida.

The tide came in Tuesday night, under a moon almost full, and when the sun came up and the water retreated there it was: a broken band of oil about 5 feet wide and 8 miles long.
